Hi all!

I just picked up a series 1(li) and rebuilt it with a new crank(ser 3), bearing, seals, etc. I know the old mag side is different, so i just swapped the the crank and flange from another bike i have to get it running.

My question is now that i have a series 1 mag flange here with nothing to do with it and a bike that needs a mag flange, can i rebuild it as a ser 3? With the spacer rings, etc i assume. Is there any way i can use it like that?

No. It can go into a Series 3 engine, but you cannot put the same components into the Series 1 mag flange.
