Hi All,
Might be a stupid question but be gentle with me.
I currently run a TS1 bored to 71mm with a 60mm crank. It's time for the cylinder to be replated & a piston change.
My question is can i rebore to 72mm & use an RB25 Asso piston?
Your comments greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Steve.

to take the ts1 to 72 you would need to steel line i think that is if you dont end up with a pile of fins trying to fit a liner

Steve I know that Ray @ AF has bored the RB22 from 70.0mm to 72.0mm but has taken about 10mm off the lower section of the skirt so that the spiggot is not too thin.
The core diameters of both cylinders are similar so I see no problem in doing this except for the added cost as a new cylinder head will need to be done as the piston crown angle is shallower!
Best regards
