my son rides an 2007 piaggio nrg power lc 50cc. it has lost some power only running at 37 mph 7000 revs but after 2-3 miles gets better and pulls 48-50 10500 :wtf: is it piston rings or flat rollers . when it slows down will do the same again :wtf: plug colour nice brown. the niple on top of spark plug was loose stayed in cap when i pulled it out made it a bit better when sorted that but its not right

sounds like it wants a transmission service start by replacing the rollers and try a fraction lighter say 5.5g or std weights if you decide to replace the rear torque spring a new belt will improve/recover top speed
is it derestricted ?
try closing the plug gap up to 0.5 as the stators fail regularly and this helps to overcome the problem

try buying a set of 4.5 and 5.5 rollers you can try all 6 as are or mix them giving options of 27g/30g 50/50 mix /33g ,test each set on the road and pick the best result
