I do a fair bit of my riding along country lanes and B roads. Now as we know even the main roads are poorly maintained and these roads are worse. I find that the front of the scooter bounces around quite a bit and can be quite nervy at times.

I assume a set of Escort shocks would improve things. Is there any need for uprated springs (if such a thing exists)???
I get my kicks out on the floor.

CamLam do a nice set of progressive springs and at a good price to. I would also get some dampers aswell, the BGM dampers are very good but £££££ depends how much you want to pay.

I know what you mean. I live in a rural area too. One of the best things I did was swap the soft Italian dampers for the stiffer Indian ones. While I usually manage to avoid the potholes it will give you a firmer ride on your average journey.

Just looking at your scoot actually. You're going to need some mounts welded on. Not sure the clamp on variety would be up to it.

Thanks but I was rather hoping the bolt on dampers would suffice.

Well; it won't do any harm to try. There were some excellent ones from one of the German dealers. But typically I can't find them at the moment.

Correct that. These are apparently very good indeed.
