Help needed jetting my ts1 225 standard tune 60 stroke crank jl3 pipe augusto 6000 30mm phbh with fillter av268, x7 , 3rd cilp up, 142 main, 55 pilot, 40 slide. runs clean no stutter but cant get any colour on plug light tan at 1/2 throttle about 5000 revs . not tryed 3/4 or full yet. i have got x13 and x2 to what do you think ?? :wtf: have been thinking about fitting a tmx 35.!! thanks col

Try the X2 needle top clip or the x13 2nd clip. That should richen things up part throttle.
As you richen the mid range you often get a cough about 4-5000rpm. Be careful not to weaken too much to get rid of it because on the dyno the fuel graph is usually bang on either side. A bell mouth sometimes helps if you have a hole in the panel. You can get filters that will still fit a bellmouth on the carb as well.

142 main is huge 130-135 is more usual

Been out tonight with x13 ended up on top notch still not alot of colour . 3rd notch splutering at half throtle started to clean up at 1/2- 3/4 . do you think timing could be out ? what would you have it set at between 6000-7000 ? :wtf: ta col
