Looking from the rear of the scoot, the engine is not central to the frame its more over to the left hand side(by along way) :wtf:
Checked the and replaced the frame cones just in case, replaced kickstart side Silent Block as it was showing wear, but still it sits out of line, not as much but still not correct :wtf:
Thinking it could be a bent frame :?: but everything else on the scoot is spot on and sits correct etc :!:
Ideas please,Cheers.

mines over to the left. The frame is straight but the loop is welded on at a slight angle. Used to worry about it but now I just ride it.

centralise the steering column and then put a straight edge (a plank should be OK) against the rear wheel and the front wheel.

Is there a gap?

Chris

I guess it's an Indian frame as these are often welded cock-eyed.

Thanks for the replys,No its an Italian SX150,Put a straight edge against the wheels and there is a gap but its not that great poss deflection in the tyres Chris.
Have checked the Frame loop/welds for any signs of after market welding etc as best i can but cant find anything  Am wondering if it could be the engine mount tube out of alignment :?:

not using offset cones by any chance? (ones possibly turned round?)

Possibly a bend in the frame round about the engine mount tube area?

Have you checked the tube area for cracks?

Can you post a pic from the rear?

Chris
