It all depends on your requirements and expectations Andy as they are very different exhausts, the clubman would be better for a a standard look and sound (with the exception of the VW tailpipe models) in which case say goodbye to your ear drums :D.

The Scootrs is by design a rip off of PMs successful 25 range and is cost effective and will give a bit more grunt but should probably be mated with a larger than standard carb IMO..

Choices choices and Decisions decisions :D

I`ve got both , the scootrs pipe is revvy, pulls ok when on the power, the clubman will probably suit your needs better.

Clubman I would suggest is better for you but you can hit a rev wall with a Clubman the Scootrs/PM one will rev on but might not be as good to ride. I'm changing my Clubman to a Gori or the new MB one - this might not happen due to the wait.

How capable are you with a few spanners?

Might be worth getting a copy of the old Dave Lobster Tuning Manual. Armed with that and a half decent clubman, you've got the ability to make a nice everyday bike.

I have both, but they are on different top ends. The scootrs pipe is good for the price i think. Some of the chrome flaked right off on the bracket, but overall very good.

For a stock 200 with 22mm carb, i would probably go with the clubman though. Nice spread of power. If you plan on changing the carb and do some tuning in the future, then i might go with the scootrs pipe

I've wondered how you do that clubman trickery. Any clues?

for cheap performance pipes the Indian clubman beats all, i have used em for years and they work. i have used an RS clubman and have tried others including the Ancillotti but although not as linear in power delivery they can grunt like an expendable foot soldier charging a machine gun with his bayonet, anything painted with a brush these days must be credit crunch friendly. i've seen the MB clubman chat and it looks really smart as a product but if its 75% more expensive do you get 75% more performance??? unlikely. so if you arent going for a lifetime best friend then hire an indian clubman til it dissolves a few years after you pal up.
