I just read on p106 in Scootering that came today that Harry Barlow has a new gear cluster available to make a SX150 gearbox more useable on a tuned motor using a GP200 4th gear. Has anyone used one to give any feedback and a price for it?

Thanks.
I've not had a response to email yet, but does anyone know anything about this?

That's interesting news. How many of us have got SX150 gearboxes lying around we don't know what to do with? For the cost of a new tree it's probably better than buying a new gearbox. Somebody should ring him and ask the question.

Any engineering types got a view on mixing metal grades between tree and loose (old) gears?

Not a metal expert by any means but wouldnt the stronger grade metal chew the softer metal up ?? Weakest link and all that ?

Is that used with SX150 1,2,3 and GP200 4th? If so, ratios looks good on paper, nice long 1st and a close 2,3 and 4.
