PX 210 fine at high revs in lower gears spluttering and coughing at low speeds as it pulls in 3rd and 4th. Only just started few days ago .
Fuel or electric?? Has new stator and cdi running sip fast fuel tap.
Is this a carb fault??

Booked in at Diablo for a dyno session next Monday wondereing if its worth the risk of going to Doncaster at the weekend.

Just changed from super to normal fuel also (on advise) dont know if this could be the caused . Plugs is light brown running rock 3%

Any advice welcome

Thanks

Phil

Re Fuel; I was given this advise as well a few years ago by Jerome at Readspeed - 'use normal unleaded not super'. From what I remember the reason I was given at the time was that the 'super unleaded' burns hotter therefore could possibly aid overheating issues. That was on a fully ported 22bhp malossi 210. Either way I took the advise and have had no problems on 95 rated fuel.

Reply for EDEN

2nd tank of super appears to have solved nearly all the issues. Still a bit boggy but nothing like before.

I was advised not to run a tuned 210 on Super due to high levels of ethanol .

Enjoyable day at Diablo moto in Nuneaton.

Fault appeared to be electrical which Al soon found and sorted. Wire going into CDI had broken.

All Dyno'd and Set Up and running very well and rally smooth.
