ball park jetting

just a quickie,a friend has a race rapido 225,pm pipe.and an old school 34 amal powerjet...
is anyone running anything similar that could point us in the right direction jetting wise
one other point .....should we put a hole in the panel?...would it breathe enough without one?

AF suggested the following for my rapido with a 30mm Amal non power jet , would have thought the 34 won't be too different
30 - 35 pilot
50 - 55 choke
107 needle jet
320 - 340 main
3 1/2 slide
For a ts1 with expansion their chart says the same but 340 - 360 main.
If you're using the power jet you subtract the value of the pj from the main.
As to the hole you'll need to see if the panel fits ...if there's clearance then you ought to be ok , I think that you need the bel mouth on for the power jet to work...
