Following my recent post in which several folk said I should do a dry run fitting of my disc brake before I drill holes & get the bike painted, I'm going to follow your wise words. Thus I need to get my brake kit purchased this week.
Much as I'd love a full-on PM double disc antidive setup, I'm afraid budget doesn't allow
So far, I've narrowed it to two options: The well known ScootRS outboard one with the fairly standard looking hub or one that's all over Ebay & various dealers sites described as a 'pepperpot style' alloy hub (sorry - too stupid to post links/pics yet!).
Would be interested to hear of anyone's thoughts or experiences on either of these please before I buy one.

The ScootRS one has the big advantage of being anti dive. Loads of people in the local Perth club (PLSC) have the ScootRS kit and think it's great. I have a ScootRS setup on my series 3 that I am about to upgrade to "anti dive" and I prefer the "standard" hub look, but that of course is a personal preference.

I sell both but I prefer the scootrs ones. The std one retails around the £225 mark but the anti dive is only about £25 more so worth buying that to start with as the upgrade kit is about £80. The scootrs ones centralise better than the Pepperpot ones. You can use the anti dive upgrade kit on the Sterling Pepperpot too. It's a worthwhile upgrade as it helps centralise the wheel in addition to the anti dive benefits.

I agree the LTH is probably the Mutts Nuts but it's over budget i'm afraid.
Looks like the ScootRS one seems to get the vote then. Just a coupe of questions about it if I may;
Is the anti-dive addition worth having?
Secondly, can it be stripped down easily to repaint the hub as I don't want it white?
If I do get one, it looks like I'll get it from Corrado now I know he sells them; I'd much rather support a forum member's business than some faceless Fleabayer!

Maybe, but at 500 euros (including a master cylinder mount) its a lot more expensive, albeit probably better engineered.
If the SRS one will do more or less the same job, it'll still be safe and I'll have a bike that doesn't look like I sprayed it with rattle cans!
(and LTH haven't got any in stock)

I've not had a chance to check but I think all my stock are painted Silver not White [note to self, get web builder to change the details, oh and add on the anti dive version]
