Just been porting a cylinder and casings and thought forum members might like a peek?

TS1 225 cylinder, MB piston & inlet manifold, matched to V-force reeds, running a Franspeed Race pipe. The owner wanted something a bit fruity.

I'm mid-flow with this, but stopped to take a few pics:

Casings having extra transfer channel cut in:

Cut an inlet opening into bottom of reed area to match new transfer in casings, also reworked transfer ports on cylinder:

Underside of new transfer, and re-worked exhaust port:

After a bit of consideration, i worked on secondary cylinder transfers a bit more and then cut in an additional boost port. Main boost port was widened and i altered the entry angle to give more area. The new slimmer boost ports only goal in life is to assist in scavenging the combustion chamber in the cylinder head, and as such has a steep angle of entry:

Now just working on a 7 plate clutch for the same engine:

As soon as clutch is finalised will rebuild and pass engine back. When it comes in for a dyno will post graph.

Very nice, it`ll be interesting to see the before and after graphs to see what improvements these mods make?

How are the ring peg positions with the extra inlet work.

As you'll be aware, the bottom ring of the MB piston presents issues on that side with its peg position, but i came up with a suitable solution.

How are you routing the additional boost ports on your 7 port motors?
