Hi all I've just changed my 47 tooth clutch for a 46 AF cassette road clutch, my problem is the chain is really loose with the tensioner fully extended the chain still touches the casing at the bottom, can I take a link out and is it easy to do.

ok .. we need to know what tooth front sprocket you currently have .. and /or you may need a pull down type tensioner

Hi the front is a 18 tooth sprocket which would explain why its so long, I thought it had a 19 put in when it was built so going down to 46 at the rear made it worse. The chain tensioner is a push up type.

if leaving the 18 in you will need a pull down tensioner .. cost wise not a lot in it over different chain and worth having anyway
