Hi Guys

Heading back from Cobblesoul yesterday and all was fine with scooter ( GT, 24mm Mikuni, augusto 6000 and AF clubman) then decided to not run above 40 ish with out spluttering and holding back, wont rev out. Its fine if I keep below that speed.

Had a quick roadside clean out of carb, jets seem fine, although I will give a complete strip down when I hav time.

Any other suggestions ?

stator ,CDI,HT lead ,spark plug, suppressor cap ? I'd try one of them first before a full autopsy
I am playing all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order.

Before all the messing.. stick your finger down the manifold and feel the reeds. Symptoms sound like when I split one of the reeds in mine.

I'd go with Davetomo and try the electronic side of things. I've had a stator plate fail and it's
symptoms seemed similar to yours. But as both said check the easy things first before a strip down.

Getting closer to the answer! Its not the reeds, anyway to test CDI s or regulaters? Its easy when they dont work full stop, however if not working to full capacity or intermitant not so easy? :?
