wont start

struggling to get my scoot started , if i take the bottom green wire from the cdi it starts , i changed the ignition switch thinking it was that but its no diffrent, anyone got any ideas . Steve

If it starts with the wire off then you either have another faulty switch or that wire needs replacing, get a length of wire and run it from the cdi where that outer green goes and straight to the switch with the green disconnected and then if it starts with the switch you have found your fault ,the green wire is shorting out somewhere. Or it could be that you have wired your switch up wrong.
