is there a technique to applying laquer over the top of stickers /transfers.
the paint is cured two pack paint with the stickers/transfers in place but on the first coat of laquer applied the stickers shrunk and wrinkled ,
can you give me some pointer please?

That shouln't happen if they were automotive typs stickers. I used stickers off ebay on my Gulf paint scheme and had no trouble with any of them using 2 pack laquer, no special technique used at all

I have been laquering over the vinyl graphics I make with 2K for years, with no problem.
I always dust on a light coat first, but I do that to prevent build up on the edges at first (avoids runs).
Were they a paper backed sticker, or plastic?

on original waterslides i use a water based clear exterior varnish applied with a quality brush, at least 2 coats, acylic ones make them wrinkle up as i found to my cost
