yep we have found out
but can i just cut the windows on this piston as the windows are impressed on the inside of the piston or will the little slot window on the piston mess it up if you know what i mean
cheers steve

That would depend if it strays into any ports on it's travels. Can't you assemble the top end and check? If not then I would have thought you'd be safe to cut out the windows and use as is. If it does you could get the hole welded up, no need to go all the way to the bore face, just make it gas tight.
They're the same piston with different machining processes, you can see the edges of the holes on the underside.

One thing to note is that Tino's barrels and pistons might be graded like TS1's A,B,C etc. If so you might want to check yours as I'd hope that someone didn't buy that piston specifically for that barrel
