hi can any one recomend where i can get a seal for my aero filler cap where it sits between the tank and the cap ,or some other way of sealing , i dont know what it came off & i have tried a few methods but they keep melting ,cheers soupy

I think you ought to be trying to find out why it's getting that hot up there first...

probbably means the petrol dissolves the sealant or whatever he used

Ahhh... I'd have been worried it it was getting that hot that close to the tank.

Can you post a pic to show what you mean?

hi,yes as rick said the probs i have are = tried double sided foam tape /rubber seal from a plumbers merchants both didnt last i was hoping that there may be a rubber seal or a silicone type product out there that is petrol resistant its about 60mm in dia,cheers soupy

best think get a pic of cap etc
