jettex size confusion !!

Hey all, had some carb probs so decided to swap over to another exact same jettex 22mm carb on a gp200 engine !!! exact same i thought ?? on comparing the two the one i took off has a fluted venturi measuring approx around 21mm from side to side the other one again a jettex 22mm has a noticeable larger venturi without a fluted end more like a straight pipe and measures at almost 24mm from side to side inside the throat !!!! both carbs have exactly the same interiors that a sh22 should have ?? so... could someone shed some light on what the difference is ? whether they are both 22mm or ???

I should think its been reamed out at some point from 22-24mm this is fairly common but i would expect the jetting will be different too ,larger jets etc
