Anyone know where I can get some proper high tensile kickstart bolts (c/w nuts) from? Stainless ones might as well be made of cheese.
Thanks.

Hello, the main problem is that pinchbolts are M7. What I would do is I would try at an industrial hardware store. Take your lever with you so you can test the length with a vernier caliper. Ask the clerk which surely will be very helpful and show you the different variety. Here in town we have one which has a huge catalogue. The problem is that these bolts are mostly made with an allen head.

Kind regards,

J.

I'm very suspicious of stainless fasteners after shearing one of the rear hub bearing retaining plate ones recently with the torque wrench set at 5NM...
