I had one about 15/20 years back- SX150 frame, but with LI S3 panelwork (clip on sidepanels; horncasting that took an oblong badge; no battery tray as standard)SX engine.
Probably Innocentis last production run before SX proper in order to use up the excess LI3 bodywork spares

Isn't that a bit like the S4? Clip on panels, square badge, etc.? Another oddball lot?

yep- really odd.
My theory, FWIW, is that the original S4 production run was scheduled to be a lot bigger than the actual 1400 odd produced- Innocenti therefore had a load of S4 panelwork left over, and with SX coming onstream shortly, had to shift the old metalwork quickly- hence the possible SX150/ LI150 hybrid.
Not an impossible scenario, but who'll ever know after all these years?
