A very well respected member of our forum, who I'm sure won't mind me posting this, has fitted one and says it's surperb.

Am looking forward to getting mine now :bigsm:
Only two things that worried me a bit were the 'showroom use' disclaimer and the possibility of availability of replacement shoes long term....how bad would it be if you got a great brake once and couldn't get new shoes again...

We RACED one for six ours on a race here in Spain... Not a single problem. The scoot did 325kms without missing a beat. The brake was outstanding.

Yes, fitted one to Pikey's 'Captain America' chop a few weeks back, they are very straightforward to fit...Pikey loves it and says it works really well.

Not wanting to put a downer on this because I fancy one myself but is the Lambretta rear hub strong enough to cope with the extra breaking force?

I don' think there's any more force. The idea is to align the shoes correctly so the force you do apply goes towards braking efficiently.

I've not seen anything about the cams before. Can you use either? GP or LI?
