Paint/non paint of certain parts on TV restore

I'm restoring a TV175 series 3. It's been messed with over the years so I have no indication of how the following should be painted, but do have an all original LIS 125 where these were, so here's the questions:

- fork link bolts: painted on LIS. TV? how does one go about doing that?
- fork buffer bolts: painted on LIS
- L-bracket M7 bolts: both painted on LIS
- rim bolts on hubs: back sides painted on LIS

The Tessera restoration guide doesn't mention these as either plated or painted. Any clues?

I might be wrong, but I don't think any of the bolts should be painted as standard. I suspect somebody has just painted over them at some point in your scooter's history.

- fork link bolts: painted on LIS. TV? how does one go about doing that? - not painted, zinc plated.
- fork buffer bolts: painted on LIS - not painted, zinc plated.
- L-bracket M7 bolts: both painted on LIS - Painted as per bodywork.
- rim bolts on hubs: back sides painted on LIS - depends on year, but normally painted,..... if very early machine, then left blackened.

Hope that helps,

Cheers

Well; yes the rims would have been painted. But other than that what have the Romans ever done for us?
