What version Mugello have you got? If its a version 3 or 4 then your JL3 was a bitch to fit because these later version mugellos had a design "upgrade" which put the exhaust gasket face 10mm closer to the ground (when the cylinder is fitted to the bike) this puts all the brackets out of line and makes exhaust fitting a nightmare.
I had to make new brackets to fit my JL3 to my Mugello V4.
Slow is the new fast!

Well.....thinking of something that still has a 60's vibe but with something a little extra.
The scoot looked like this before we took it apart.

May well keep some of the red, but looking to add a large splash of Metallic Flake Jaguar Green.
Also some red anodized bits, new seat (cut slope back Ancillotti - covered to match the paintwork).
I guess it'll be a kind of organic thing...

Same problem on my V2. Jim Lomas was brilliant and sent me a revised bracket free of charge (I made my own custom one in the end) then we found out it was the Mugello casting that was incorrect! It didn't stop me buying a V4 though which has got a KBA Clubman fitted and I don't recall having too much bother with that.

Interested to hear what is involved in fitting a reed valve to a Muggy though :)

An area of fins taken off the head and the inlet manifold opened up to match the porting on the head.....
I'm not doing that :freak: :freak: :freak:
