TS1 FRANSPEED - CARB ADJUSTING SCREWS

I have been running a GP TS1 225 with a BS sterling pipe, 30mm dellorto carb PHBL for about 2 years now with no problems, I have just fitted a Franspeed pipe and went for a ride and it seemed fine. I then got home and stripped the carb as it had a lot of crap on it, but I didn't mark how the mixture screw and slide stop screw(tick over) were set. I have been fiddling with them but it doesn't feel the same and I am having to rev the b@11@x off it to get anywhere! Does anybody know how many turns the screws should be set at? Also any advise on jetting would be appreciated?

30mm Dellorto PHBL Jet settings are -
AV266
135 Main
40 Slide
55 Pilot
X7 top clip

Does anyone know whether moving the clip up the needle makes the set up leaner or richer on a PHBL 30mm dellorto? cheers
