i find fitting the horn cover and gaskets very annoying , also what makes it more annoying is i have a legshield mounted spare wheel,(the spare wheel carrier will be indian i think) which makes it difficult to line up the top mounts and the alloy threads on the 30 odd year old horn cover
has anyone fitted studs with loctite to the horn cover and tightened it up with nylock nut on the spare wheel carrier side?
or is there a reason i should not do this....

I always tape the thin gaskets to the side of the horncast on the inside - just a little to hold them in place whilst being round the other side tightening up - saved many a sweary moment
