A mate is thinking of converting an ali barrel for his P2 to take a Lambretta TS1 exhaust stub as he's having problems with his pipe coming off/blowing!!,anybody else done this with success??,any pics/info gratefully accepted,thanks in advance.....Kev

cant understand why malossi and pinasco never picked up this as it is the best way forward - vespa did it with T5 from day 1 for a reason !

i`ve used an autisa ali barrel for years on a vespa and no issue with the stub after i spring mounted it. in the early years when vespa exhausts had no spring mounts i did snap it - it does need some exhaust sealer - i use HT silicon which gives it a degree of flexibility

ps if he`s doing it himself he can do one for me if he wants !
