Oil on filter

What oil is used on the ram air type filters?

it will play up with your jetting settings although if your already too lean it may run better
better to wash it out regularly in petrol dry off on kitchen towel and leave to dry out naturally but if in a rush you can fit up and ride straight away if you use premix from your tank then it will leave a little bit of 2 stroke oil on the filter and youll know what youve cleaned the filter with wont harm the motor if drawn in

if u insist on using filter oil expect to lean off a little and the filter oil is held within a carrier fluid that evaporates so needs half an hour to dry before fitting ,there available from likes of putoline etc. and commonly found in mx shops

I wash mine in boiling water and washing powder,comes up like new when dried.
