New Readspeed Adjustable CDI

Anyone with any feedback on them? I like the idea of an all in the piece of equipment like this.

These CDi's are from the new 4 stroke Lambrettas. As I understand it, they are NOT compatible with 2T engines. The ignition only advances it has no retarding function (opposite to what 2T requires). These ignitions are taken from 4 stroke monkey and pit bikes, loads on Ebay.

As far as I know they are being made specifically to Readspeed's requirements with a selection of retard maps inside the CDI chosen that are of use on 2-strokes.

The idea is to offer a range of switchable maps like the Chiselspeed MTech, but all built in to the CDI box rather than being a bolt-on with additional wiring.

For the price that's been mooted they seem good value if they work as intended.

My mistake, there are two types one 4T (pit bike type) and the other 2T.

if these are like any other product i have ever bought from readspeed these will work as they are meant to and be of a very good quality. jerome has always been one of the most helpful dealers i have ever dealt with down to ringing me when i had a problem with a misunderstanding over order i placed. good luck with this jerome

Fair enough, at the right price it could be a real winner, feck me a decent CDI would be a bonus :D
