hi all, have just got a rapido 225 barrel 70mm standard piston, and the top right inlet stud hole is just, breaking through into the barrel, wall,so there is a small hole, the barrel has been tuned, seem to remember that this is ok and is normal on a tuned barrel,i will be getting it rebored so the hole will get bigger probaly same size as the m7 stud, will this be ok,advice gratefully recieved.cheers.

mine was the same on the special (classic rapido) and the "race" version on my GP is the same. locktite the stud in and it will be ok. its a 2 stroke barrel, its full of holes anyway. as long as its not sucking owt in/out it"ll be fine, speaking from experience.

cheers goldeneye, rang af after posting, and managed to speak to ben,who said it would be fine, and that it could be a 200 barrell bored out,as the 200 has the inlet studs drilled deeper,as there is more meat on the 200 barrell, any way its off to af for the rebore and new piston, anyone know if the mahle piston is as good as the asso, its only its about £20 quid cheaper or should i go for the asso.
