In the GT 186 kit assembly manual it states:
4. Fit piston rings & right hand circlip into piston. Do not
forget to add the corrugated metal spacer that fits
underneath the lower piston ring.

What is the corrugated meatal spacer?

Thanks
Dave

I amended this last night, the supplier has changed the piston specification and these washers are no longer supplied in the piston kit. It was always a little confusing for some and there have also been instances where the washers have broken up so I'm actually glad to see the back of them. If you go to the GT web site in 5 mins you can down load the latest manual.

CALLING ALL GT kit owners! It is about time I compiled some more information in the build manual and one particular area has been bugging me for a while. If you are currently running a GT kit with either a PHBH30mm, TM24 & TMX30 makuni I'd like to know your jetting details. I have a rough idea of what they should be but it is important to take a bit of a straw pole as to what people are using out there.

Additionally, if you are using another type of carb I would be interested to know what it is, how it is being used (air box, filter pipe etc) and what jetting it has.

I know everything I need to know about the PHBL25 which is the most prolific carb but anything else would be interested. The information will be colated, and a general starting point for jetting will be listed for that carb in the manual. Please contact me over PM, thanks.
