Hi just finished fitting a mugello 186 kit ,new bearings, seals, crank ,chain etc .The scoot starts up and ticks over great. The only problem is when the clutch is pulled in
and gear selected it stalls,if you rev it ,it will move but soon dies. I,ve tried different cable adjustments to no avail . When rebuilding i replaced the old spring type rear sprocket with a scooter restos solid bush type ,used the original spider ,pressure plate and clutch steels ,with new corks and uprated springs .Theres enough
room between plates when compressed. The clutch lever is quite stiff ,even when i used an old set of springs
I presume i will have to replace the spider and pressure plate.....more expense .The corks are the recommended 14mm and the top steel is the 2.5mm li type
Cheers for any advice

I thought you were going to be up town on it today? :frog: (so you said  ) you've got the gear cables the right way around? soaked the plates for 24 hours so that they are covered (not just in a biscuit tin with a fanny full of oil in it).If you want a hand at the weekend give us shout,I think I've got a spare clutch bell somewhere.
I am playing all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order.
