Hi there, ive seen a couple of VS5`s with slopeback (mainly in Germany) seats which have obviously beed modified to fit them.Dont think its just the bracket which has been adapted, think its the seat frame aswell.Anyone know anything about this?
Cheers

the frame is mainly filler with a bit of vbb thrown in for a metalic effect.

i think this is the seat they are using though as its where i got the idea from to smooth the back end by covering the bump at the back

the base is fibreglass or resin of some kind. you frame will have two bolts at the front instead of 3 and once on i think the seat should sit right as yours is the same shape ish but without the bump at the back

this was my attempt

and using a lambretta seat

and just as i was almost there scooter centre started selling exactly what i was after.

Trouble is,the GS frame curves up slightly at the front, thats the main issue. But we will see.

How much of a mission would it be to make your own fibreglass base from scratch?
