Am I right in thinking that your HT lead has to have multi strand copper inside as oppose to a solid copper core? The reason i ask is normally when I need any just go to the local bike shop get a couple of meters, job done and its always been the multi strand stuff. But I quite fancy some of this stuff ht (pretty colours ) but it looks to be solid core copper,is it OK to use or not bother. He also does this which looks from the photo to be multi strand I was thinking the strands have probably more give/movement as oppose to a solid piece of wire with the motion of the scooter or am I way off.

id go with the multi strand but only because it will be far easier to screw the ht cap on

Cheers Ric,just had a reply off the bloke on ebay they're all multi strand copper ,its just the picture looks like solid copper.Think I may go for the gloss, as the amount of shite & oil blowing around under the panels the cotton braid stuff would soon get dirty, least with the gloss you can wipe it clean. Thanks for the reply
