EMBELLISHERS - help needed

These embellishers were fitted on the metallic blue TV3 I acquired last autumn.
I like them very much and I would love to see them fitted again in one of my scooters.
The problem is that they need some work to be done on them.
I am not sure whether they could be redone to appear as new or they will be just useable at the end of the day. But in any case I have at least one scooter to use them :) My everyday 175TV3 or a full restored TV200? We will see...

First of all I need to help me identifying them. I am pretty sure that they are period items.
The ones for the mudguard and the legshields I think it is obvious they are Vigano.
The floorboard extentions... are they Falbo or what else?
And the pair for the sidepanels. Is it Vigano as well?

Then I need your opinions. Do you know of a specialist who could possibly do this work on them? Please note that there is not only the chrome which has been destroyed in some areas, but there are some pieces missing too :?

Some of those items are either plastic or "mazak", a very soft and delicate alloy. I know of a firm that does mazak repairs in Hampshire. They also do chroming. The thing is, I suspect that the cost of repairs wll outweigh the value of the items themselves: when I had some work done to a genuine Jag light, the cost including chroming came to £170. But a Jag light can sell for up to £600. So you have to ask yourself if you want to do it for sentimental reasons...

If I could send him an email with pics of the floorboard extentions, to give me an idea about the aproximate cost...
At least I have nothing to lose by doing this ;) then I may decide if I will restore them or not
But in any case I am thinking of keeping them, as I like them a lot and I have seen nothing like them so far

Have u seen these floorboard extentions in the market? Do you know if the can be found easily and at which price? I will need these info in order to make my mind after I will have got the offer from the man in Hampshire

Hi Nassos,

I beleive the bumper and legshield trims are made by Super, the kickplates and footbaords are Vigano. Rimini has the kickplates on a special offer for £100 so its probably cheaper to buy them than re-chrome yours (depending on chroming costs in greece).
Id be interested in buying the legshield trims if you ever wanted to sell them.
I have an odd one of those footboards at home, red insert though, Ill check what side it is and let you know. Dont forget to get back to me on a price to get that frame over here :)

Justin
PS, Paolo at Rimini also has a man that can repair mazak accessories like your footboards - I sold them a set of falbo trims and they are repaired and on their site looking very nice ;)
