polini 177 jetting please

hi could anyone give me some jetting details for a polini 177 fitted to an early p125x ,20mm carb ,sito plus exhaust ,standard crank and cases thanks guys

Start on a 110 main jet and work down.

any idea about pilot .its one ive got in for repairs its jetted 48/160 pilot ,main set is 160/be3/102 very very boggy when you set off ,half throttle it flies .it was jetted by a scooter shop in london but its definately not right cheers

just tryed it down the estate looks like the pilot is actually too weak anyone running one with a standard pilot ?

That idle jet is very weak.
Divide the two numbers together.
e.g. a T5 engine has a 50-100 idle jet giving a number of 2
This is one of the lowest (richest) idle jets.
A P2 carb has a 55-160 which is i think a 2.9.
Not as rich as a T5 but a lot richer than yours which is over 3.
Hope this makes sense.

55/160 pilot, 140 -BE3- 115 main (up or down on the main , dependant on exhaust, polinis like a big main ive found) mixture 2 turns out.

thanks, only just saw this and that bike gone now.
but that's where it ended up [with a 116 main], even down to the mixture screw
