gp 200 gearchange help

I have just bought a gp 200, The problem i have is, It is hard to get first gear and i can not get forth gear aswell. Can anyone help me?

The gear tree will be the wrong way round

disconeect cables and check the gears select by hand on the engine

Check that the base of the gear tree bows out over the side casing or the tie bar will bind on the top part of the tree as you try to select 1st
