I've just fitted a phbh26 with foam filter to my mugello 186 with af clubman. I've copied the following from camlam:-
Slide 45
Needle X2
Atomiser AV264
Main jet 100
Pilot jet 50
Starter jet 50
It starts no problem and is great when the throttle is wide open. My problem is that it doesn't like small throttle openings and the tick over is erratic. Also when slowing down from higher speed with the throttle off it seems to die unless I pull the clutch and give it big throttle blips. Sometimes it doesn't want to pick up with any amount of throttle.
I have tried the airscrew wound fully in and at various points upto 2 full turns out with little obvious improvement. Also the slow running screw doesn't seem to have any effect on tickover.
Help. Do I have to change pilot or starter jets or is it just a question of more experimenting with the airscrew?

I run a home ported LI150 barrel bored out to 64mm with a 60mm crank. I use a 26phbh with remote filter and new AF 42mm clubman. Jetting is as follows:-
Main 115
Pilot 50
Atom AV264
Needle X13 2nd clip
Slide 40
Choke 60
Float Vve 250
Runs great, always found X2 needle way too rich.
Andy.

looks like your needle /atomiser combo is not working in harmony, also, the 45 slide looks a bit big. try a 40 slide.
