P200e clutch problem

P2 been standing for a while, clutch will not engage, pull lever seems ok, took off cover all looks ok brass plunger seems to be working , stopped there as i havn't got a clutch nut tool yet? any ideas chaps?

i would say clutch plates are probably stuck together if you know that your not going to use a bike for a while put a cable tye on the cluch lever as if its pulled in and leave it on ,then when you go to use the scoot again snip the tye and your clutch should be free , i would take your clutch to bits and clean or replace the corks at the same time make sure the metal plates are travelling freely in the basket ,no rough edges etc hope this helps bud ...

If it worked ok before then the plates are probably dry , could leave it running for a bit see if they free off ,or lay it over with the lever pulled in over night -oil may leak out of the breather though depending on angle of lean.
Failing that take it out and soak the plates in oil and then check free operation on reassembly before putting it back in .

Took the clutch out, some of the plates stuck together with gunky s**t, cleaned with wet and dry and wd, put it back in, runs sound no probs :)
