Whats a safe ring gap on a rapido 200? its done about 2500 mile on a standard size asso piston .Having its winter overhaul, checked the ring gap and its 28 thou, time for new rings? seem to have worn a bit quick though, any thoughts? AF clubman and open mouth delly 30.Did have a few issues with it last year when it had a mikuni 24 on it running hot, changed to a delly 30 hasn't missed a beat since :?

Generally, I will run rings until .45mm. This sort of thing is always a personal preference.

I imagine you are using an SAE measurent of 0.028 inches? That's a huge end gap. I'd replace those straight away.
