Right guyz.
I know theres alot of exsperiance on this forum!
i have had a good few engines built for me over the years and built a few myself.
What i would like is some Tech info on proven stuff..
I want to have one more go at a fast T5 motor..
So if some of u guyz could spare some time and write down
engine specs.
cylinders
heads
Manifolds
cranks
packers
boos tbottles
fuel pumps
clutches
gear kits
Timming porting.
I would b mega greatful for the info.....
also be good to see what everyones definition of a good t5 motor is....

Mate,pm Worb225. He had a T5 that was built in 89.
I used it a few times and you could get the rev counter to 01 in 4th.
That's about 87 mph.Maybe not the fastest off the line but hardly anything came past once he was gone,and that goes for Brettas too.Used a Mikeck pipe and the rest was standard,just tuned. cost him 65 quid.

you've just listed about 4.5k i spent with Worb5 back in 2009

Had a quick Suzuki 190 T5 yonks ago, standard crank, carb, induction etc but a monster left hand pipe. very reliable but used to strip the splines from rear hub centres for fun, and once dumped me in the central reservation after it sheared all the rear hub studs. used to wheelie in 2nd too ... great fun. Not THE fastest but not many other scoots went by, lovely to ride, turned every journey into a pleasure, a genuine 75 + mph scoot.
