turning mudguard question

I thought that all spanish series 2,s with a turning mudguard were winter models but now understand that this isnt the case...

Can someone tell me what the difference is between the 2 scooters and why one can be brought for a lot less than the other.

esentaialy its the head set ..a series two style at the rear but a series 3 type sx front section and rim and speedo ,and far fewer produced

There are quite a few late Eibar S2 features that the winter sported, but Ric is correct, the main unique distinquishing feature is a new recast headset. This plus the other changes, set it aside, so much so that thankfully it was given a whole new frame numbering sequence, starting 04**** anything earlier is an Eibar S2. So, just adding the different headset won't make an Eibar s2 into a winter model.
