Hello.
I need some legshields for my SX 150. But i don't know the difference between chrome ring & none chrome ring.
My LI is a chrome ring, but the frame on my Sx where the forks pass through, is different where the forks would meet the headset.
Does this mean that i need different legshields to those on my Li, and whats the difference?

any li type will fit ..i think the ring type flare out slighty at the head stock end ..stickies book shows the differences

Had a look and it does seem like any will fit. So i may be barking up the wrong tree.
I'm not sure how the headset/legshield/forks fit together on the frame. The difference on the SX frame is referred to in the book as a steering race so what exactly do i do with it?

There shouldn't be any fitting issue with the legshields. The chrome ring houses the top bearing race for the forks and it's imperative the correct headset is fitted, this will be obvious if there's an issue.
