vespa pk, doing my head in

right ok,
i have a pk100 that i need to get running so i can get rid of it,
bloody thing won't start unless you bump it and only then it works on the 5th or 6th time of bump starting,
then runs for about 10 yards then dies,
so i have -
checked the tank, no rust and no bits inside,
checked the fuel tap, no blockages and lets fuel flow out perfectly fine,
took the carb off, cleaned it all out, no signs of bits or filings blocking any of the carb up,
needle is fine, float is fine, etc etc, nout wrong with it,
so i checked the spark plug, nice chocolate brown, and has a decent spark when kicked over,
put it all back together and still won't start,
i think there is a clutch problem however as when in gear and the clutch is pulled in when not running, it feels like its still in gear, although i think its clutch drag, so going to have to take it out and have a look,
took the head off, piston is fine, a bit of coke build up on the head, cleaned that away,
seems to be a nice browny ring at the top of the cylinder though, does this indicate possibly it needs new piston rings?
any ideas of what next to try?
anyone know exactly what jets a pk 100 should have and how many turns the air mixture screw needs to be turned?
cheers
