I just gone through my 2nd slide in my delorto in just over a year and its doing my head in... :x I run panels but have an air scoop on the carb side panel so have more room for a filter than normal. Does anyone run a filter on a 30 vhsh that doesnt require cutting a hole in the panel.

Im desperate now but dont want to waste my hard earned on something that doesnt fit correctly (like i normally do). Seems as though there are options for the other dellortos but not the vhsh...................help

its an rb set up with a ss products 13 litre tank.

ramair filter shortened by cutting to size then gluing the end back on; this will fit better than most other options,

muppet,
You mean a ram air that would normally exit out of a hole in the panel but with the foam part cut down or the plastic mount or both?

..... and a jimmers manifold.

Thinnest filters I can think of are the Marchald ones.

do you know who sells the Marchald filters. I thought the jimmers manifold gave you more clearance from the frame, does it sit further back as well. Currently have the AF one, would the jimmers be a big improvment in giving more room between the bellmouth and the pannel?
