Hi all

I´m useing a bog standard Jet 200 which is my daily driver to go to work and back, my problem is that I have tried with two different carbs a dellorto SH1/18 and a Jetex 22 and I have to go all the way there with the choke on, as soon as I turn it off the bike dies on me and I have to restart it with the choke on again. I do have an sh1/20 on another bike but I would prefer to use the Jetex as it is already mounted.

Ps I´m in Mallorca so it´s not as cold here as over there, I don´t know if thats an influence or not.

Sounds like you've either got an air leak (cylinder head, cylinder base, or carb manifold) which is making you run too lean. The choke being on is richening it up to compensate just to get it to run. Or, your air mixture screw and/or pilot jet is too lean.

Have a look for the air leak first, and then maybe report back with what jets you've got in the carb.
