I have been offered a polini exhaust for my 1985 px200e. As far as i know the scooter is standard. Will be ok putting it on or do i have to change other engine parts? Also is polini a good exhaust make?

In my humble opinion and experience of these pipes, they look a bit better but they are quite heavy and i found they crack after a while around the swingarm bolt bracket. It also depends on your annual mileage i suppose. Performance increase is negligable, as the weight comprises of a bloody great baffle box inside it! I had a Simonini for mine and cut the expansion open and ripped out the baffle box, welded it back together upjetted the carb and stuck the pipe back on. It made a difference without having to do anything else..
