Hi-I'm running a TV175 S3 with a Mugello top end on 16T front and standard rear sprockets.

Acceleration in 1, 2 and 3 is very good, although I treat 4th more like an overdrive as its too "long". To be honest whilst the set up is good for me around town, I'm probably going to revert to the standard 15T front when I get time to change it.

changed the clutch in my other totally standard TV175S3 recently, and noticed that it was still running its "sprung" crownwheel. As it appeared in perfect condition, I left it where it was and have had no problems at all- if it was OK for Messrs Innocenti all those years ago.........

To be honest, using a sprung crownwheel does give you a better change from neutral to first (say at traffic lights) as it "damps" out the the initial "thump"

Bloody hell Simo, I never thought I'd see the day. I wonder if you reply to this quicker than you do your texts?
Be up sometime in Feb & hopefully catch up :fb: :fb: :fb: :fb:
