Hiya, I can get a crank split and re assembled locally but these guys are only familiar with motocrossers so I need to know exactly what parts to get for them to put together.
I have been told a RD400 con rod is the one I want. Is this correct? What I'm aiming for is use indian webs with a rod length of around 115mm. What size big end bearing and shims do I need for this to work?
Or is it easier to buy one outright from the likes of SES? cheers!

what do you mean by 18mm pin ?
an RD400 rod is 115mm and has a 16mm little end,
big end bearing of 28mm od, 22mm id
sorry can't help on shims, haven't got the rod yet
I'm planning on using one on AF 60mm webs in my 240 conversion

cheers for that info. It looks like I have been mis informed. I'm after a rod that will take a 18mm little end so i can fit a suzuki piston (ts250)

possibly worth waiting for a second opinion, I haven't actually got the rod, just going on what I've found out whilst searching for a rod myself.
how about a fantic rod ? 18mm lil end, but not sure what lengths ??

so RD400 seems good for me, although not for AUSSIE. but maybe having to do some casing work if used with a 60mm crank ??

deanspeed in the states has just had a load of rods made with 16 & 18 mm ends .so i understand
