petrol tap linkage conundrum
It's one of those little snags you run into when altering from standard, i'm talking about how you guys get round the problem of petrol tap connections with a fast flow petrol outlet, and a bigger carb. As you probably realise the carb stands in the way of a direct line up of the outer rod to the tank outlet, i've used for years a couple of the short links to bring them together but when turning the tap to diffrent positions the rods are forced to turn out of "true" at the bend where the smaller links are added, making going onto reserve on the move tricky to say the least.
